What types of dresses do we clean?
We clean all types of wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, prom dresses, casual dresses, sarees, communion and more.
Do we offer dress steaming services without cleaning?
Our customers will always tell us whether they require cleaning. If they do not require any cleaning, then yes, we can provide steaming services only.
Can we remove wine stains from wedding gowns?
It usually depends on the stain itself— how long it has been there and how deeply it penetrated. If our customer has pre-treated the stain with over-the-counter items, we can only determine the percentage of wine stain removal after assessment.
Can we safely clean beaded dresses?
Our dress experts always inspect, prep and protect any beading on each gown or dress before it goes to our cleaning department.
Do we alter dresses?
We provide many types of alterations and repairs to dresses. Our services include: sizing dresses up or down, zipper repairs, loops, re-stitching open seams, shortening and more.
Do I have to come and be fitted by a tailor for an alteration, or can I just send in my dress?
We do require each dress to be brought in and fitted professionally so that there are no misunderstandings and the work is done accurately.
Do we offer preservation for wedding gowns?
We have two preservation kits for wedding gowns; one is the platinum acid box, and the other is the muslin grade.
How much time in advance should I come in for alterations to my wedding gown?
Typically, we prefer four to six weeks in advance so that there is enough time for a first and or second fitting, if necessary, before the due date. Also, in case the bride decides to make any last-minute changes, we still have extra time to fit the requests in.
Do we dye dresses different colours?
We do not. It is unsafe for fabrics to undergo dyeing since this will compromise with the fabric quality and damage the dresses.
How long does it take for wedding gowns to be cleaned?
We require approximately ten days to clean any wedding gown professionally. Some gowns that require repairs, special attention or preservation will require a little more time.
